BEAMER APP

After the wedding celebration the glasses were raised in the Ceremonian Hall in the upper part of the Seegrotte. There we projected a little Foto-Show on the beauty bricking.

We used three video projectors ("Beamers"), each one connected to a Laptop. I created a little application with Adobe Director, that run on each laptop and communicated to each other via Multiuser to display a synchronized slideshow.

The show was based on fotos of the bridal couple‘s collection, this time ordered in groupes. Each group consists 3 to 5 fotos, that either were shot in one session, or had a theme based connection to each other.

Within one group the pictures could be presented in different ways:

identical, all Beamers displaying the same image.
The transition variates from a simple cross fade to wipes, that were timed to 'go through the room', for example starting in the center of the middle image and going to the edges of the side images.

in a row, each Beamer displays the next image within the group.
The transition is always a "pushLeft" so it looks like the images are moving from its current place in the room to the next left one.

While the tranisitions between the images of one group happened somehow horizontal, the transition from one group to the next always happened by a vertical push of the images to point out the switch.
